Meet speech-language pathology assistant Lyn G. who holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities. Lyn brings to NOSHC a broad range of knowledge and skill after teaching both learning disabilities and speech pathology in Alabama public schools for more than 25 years. With over 13 years of experience at NOSHC, Lyn’s skill and methods are combined to facilitate her client’s improvements in speech and language.

Lyn serves a number of roles at NOSHC. She participates on the screening team in various schools, works with children in Educare Head Start Program, conducts several new client evaluations each week as well as her on-going therapy sessions. (She also has the very special job of monthly birthday cake orders for NOSHC staff J )

Lyn is known for her specialty in working with clients with stuttering disorders. Her awareness in this specialty and her patience with clients makes her extremely supportive in helping clients reach their goals. She is also known at NOSHC for her ability to work well with others, her hardworking nature, as well as her expertise and compassion in working with older children. She recently had a session with 2 clients at McDonalds to practice their stuttering strategies. Thank you Ms. Lyn!
