Leslie joined the New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center team in December 2015. Before starting at NOSHC, Leslie successfully ran her own private practice in Miami, FL for 15 years.

In Miami, Leslie treated many different types of communication disorders from swallowing and feeding for infants to language components of sensory integration for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Leslie said, "Having a bag of tricks to help unlock children with sensory issues is a passion of mine. When parents can use these techniques to enhance their child's pragmatic language it gives a new meaning to a team approach."

Leslie decided to move back to her home state of Louisiana and along with her she brought a wealth of knowledge. Her years of experience from championing her own practice have made it an easy transition to the fast-paced environment of New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center.
